Thirteen photographers guided by the librettist himself, Mr. Ġorġ took several pictures of the old city of Birgu (Vittoriosa). Birgu is Mr. Peresso’s native town hence he knows it inside out and could thus provide a unique historical perspective to the photographers. The photographs are an essenitial part of the design proċess.
